RafaelLópez Palacios.


Rafael has experience in real estate asset management, leasing, valuations and investment sales across all asset classes and throughout Spain. He began his career in the financial sector (Grupo Santander) before joining Aguirre Newman where he was Head of the Barcelona office of Aguirre Newman, the largest multi-disciplinary Spanish brokerage business. Rafael has Degree in Business Science and a Master’s degree in Construction and Real Estate Company Management from Universitat de Barcelona and a PDG from IESE business school in Barcelona.

Howard has been working in the real estate sector since 1993 first in the London market and since 1998 in Spain. His UK experience was in the valuation, investment and agency areas of business. He is a founding partner of Urban Input (2004) and is involved on both the investor relations and transaction sides of the business. He currently is responsible for the Income Producing area of the business. Howard has a BSc (Hons) in Land Management from Reading University, has served on RICS European boards and is also a trainer for assessment panels.

Mario invested in Urban Input Asset Management in 2014 having previously worked with them as a local operating partner and asset manager when he was investing in Spain. Since starting his career, Mario invested in over €3bn of real estate transactions via equity or debt across Europe and across multiple asset classes, having worked at Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Och-Ziff and Benson Elliot. Mario holds a MSc in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Manchester and speaks 5 languages. Mario sits on the board of listed retail REIT Tander Inversiones and UNIQ Residential as well as a number of PropTech ventures. Until the sale to AXA, Mario sat on the board of NYSE-listed REIT, Northstar Realty Europe.

Marc is an expert in Asset Management and Development in Real Estate assets in Spain. With background in land zoning process and planning holds a degree in Business Administration. During the earlier stages of his career, Marc was responsible for the administration and management of a group of companies in the IT and real estate sectors. Marc then started working in the Land and Development department at Aguirre Newman in Barcelona. He then took over as Director of the department between 2002 and 2004.


Head of Special Situations

Pol Amills joined Urban Input Asset Management in 2014 involved in the early stage of the company. Pol is leading the Special Situations team since its inception by end of 2015. Pol leads the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Barcelona Committee since 2016.

Before joining the company, he had experience working for the Global Corporate Banking & International Business Dpt. in Banc Sabadell.

Pol holds a MSc in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya specialising in Business Management and Product Design.



Raúl Blasco holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Finance Management from Pompeu Fabra University. Raúl worked as a senior auditor in Ernst & Young for four years, when he passed CFA Level I.

He joined Urban Input in 2018 and has been involved in real estate acquisitions and asset management in office and residential projects, currently being focused in the Build to Rent sector.

He is also an active member of ULI’s Young Leaders Group.


Director, MRICS

Filipe joined Urban Input as an Asset Manager In 2019. Filipe is involved in all aspects of the asset management process and has a particular interest in development projects. Before joining Urban Input, Filipe worked as the head of development for a developer in the United Kingdom specialising in the redevelopment of brownfield sites for residential build-to-rent.
Having originally qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2013, he has gone back to his commercial property roots and joined the Income Producing team at Urban Input. He has cross-sector experience in all aspects of the investment and management process from the acquisition, through to the planning, development and disposal of assets.


Finance Director

In March 2019 Jesús joined Urban Input and he is responsible for directing the financial planning and strategy, analyzing and overseeing all financial performances, and providing key information to the executive team.

Jesús has more than 10 years of experience as responsible for finance departments, in areas like Real State, Renewable Energies, Research and Development or Motorways.

Jesús holds a master in financial management from the ESIC and graduated from Universidad de Navarra with a degree in Administration and Business Management.


Legal & Governance

Sigrid joined Urban Input in 2020. Before joining Urban Input she was responsible of the legal department of GRUPO NORVO providing legal support to all the company’s group on real estate, corporate governance and commercial law matters.

She started her professional career at Garrigues, as part of the litigation department and afterwards she joined the lawyer’s office Pinto Ruiz y del Valle, S.L. where she worked as a lawyer for more than five years in real estate, town planning law and administrative law.

Sigrid is graduate in Law and holds a Master in Business Law from ESADE BUSINESS SCHOOL. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in EUROPEAN LAW awarded by Universidad de Barcelona and several diplomas in Town Planning and in Trust (awarded by the Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona), in European Law (awarded by the Universität KFU Austria-Graz) and English Law (London School of Economics, London). She is a member of the Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona since 2001.


Senior Accountant

Mireia joined the finance department of the company in 2019. She performs and coordinates accounting duties as well as taxes, and assists in the financial analysis and reports.

Before joining the company, she was responsible of finance and accounting in a small tech-driven real state portal. Mireia is the accountant and Treasurer of the Association Python Barcelona.

Mireia graduated in business administration at the Universitat de Barcelona.


Senior Asset Manager

Javier Reguera joined Urban Input Asset Management in 2018 as an Asset Manager in the Special Situations team.

Javier graduated from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2014 as Civil Engineer and obtained the MSc in Civil Engineering in 2016 focusing on infrastructure financing and public service management.


Urban Planner

In January 2020, Silvia joined Urban Input as an urban planner. She is responsible for analyzing and looking for land opportunities in the metropolitan area of Madrid, as well as the management of urban transformation processes.
Before joining UI, Silvia was an associate at Deloitte Real Estate department, where she has participated in portfolio’s transactions (NPLs & REOs), Due Diligences and strategic Business Plans for real estate companies. Previously, she worked as an architect/urban planner in France focusing on projects of different scales and uses.
Silvia graduated as an architect at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2012, with a specialization in Urban Planning. She has also a Master’s degree of Urban & RE Development Studies (“Cycle d’Urbanisme”) from Sciences Po Paris.


Administration & Governance

Sara joined Urban Input as a member of financial and accounting team in 2014. Due to the business growing, she has been training in other workplaces such as Corporate Legal area. Actually, she provides support on Corporate Legal matters to all of the Company’s team and projects under management.

Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management task and has a Master in Logistics and International Trade, validated by the “ILI Logística Internacional” (International Logistic Institute).

She also holds a postgraduate in Commercial Law by “Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona” to improve its corporate practice and corporate governance skills, roll that she is now developing in the company.

As professional experience, Sara started working in a multinational pharmaceutical company in the financial area and subsequently in an accounting and tax consultancy company.


Acquisitions Manager

Ernesto García holds a degree in Building Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Management and Urban Planning from INESEM Business School. He worked as a Building Engineer in Germany for one year at Takenaka Europe GmbH. Then he came back to Spain to work as Real Estate Acquisitions and Portfolio consultant in Lidl. Ernesto currently works as Real Estate Investment Analyst focused on Built to Rent Market.


Office Manager

Iratxe joined Urban Input as Office Manager in September 2014. Iratxe brings with her years of experience as Executive and Team Assistant, having previously worked 7 years in a multinational law firm, last years as Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner of the firm. Iratxe also worked as Coordinator of the summer language courses Department for a national company of languages abroad, based first in Madrid and afterwards in its Barcelona headquarters. She studied Secretariado de Dirección in Instituto Vasco de Nuevas Carreras of Bilbao and graduated in 1999.


Asset Manager

Arancha joined the Income Producing team on October 2020 as an Asset Manager and is involved in all aspects of the asset manager process, currently being focused on the office projects. Before joining Urban Input, Arancha worked as a Valuation and Advisory Consultant, her responsibilities included the valuation of all property types such as offices, retail, land, hotels, and logistics among others, working for a wide range of clients such as international banks, investment funds, Socimis and developers. She also carried out Due Diligence reports, the valuation of NPLs and REOs portfolios and developed strategic advisory work through her years in the Real Estate consultancy sector.

Arancha graduated in Economics at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.


Analyst Investor Relations

Karan holds a degree in Business Administration from IQS School of Management, and has more than 2 years experience in management consulting primarily engaging in advisory with British & Spanish Financial Institutions. Karan has also passed level I of the CFA program and is a Certified Advisor (CAd) for investment professionals who engage in client advisory.


Senior Development & Technical Asset Manager

Maciej joined Urban Input in 2020 as a Development and Technical Asset Manager his current focus is the built-to-rent market. He graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in Building Surveying and holds a Master´s degree in Real Estate Investment Finance from the Oxford Brookes University. He gained chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2019.

He spent early years of his professional career in the United Kingdom gaining experience in the construction and property sectors. After moving to Spain, Maciej spent four years at a major property and construction consultancy mainly focusing on new development and technical due diligence in transactions involving institutional investors.



Yara Calvo joined the financial department in November 2020, carrying-out accounting and financial management tasks to all group's companies. Before joining Urban Input, she worked for five years for an important law firm from Barcelona within the PYME advisory department.

She started her professional career as accountant in Valladolid, where she also graduated in Business Administration. She obtained the Master’s degree in Fiscal Taxation at the Financial Studies Center from Madrid in 2015.

David Castellà

Property Manager

David joined the Urban Input team in 2022 as a Property Manager, focused on the Build to Rent sector.

He has over 10 years of experience in Real Estate, 3 of them as a residential real estate consultant, being the responsible for banking assets in Forcadell. For the last 7 years he has directed a renowned family office in the upper area of ​​Barcelona, ​​where he has been in charge of both the commercial direction and the Property & Asset management of its extensive portfolio of assets in Catalonia.

He has a Master's degree in Commercial Management and Sales from Universitat de Barcelona and a certification as a Real Estate Agent.


Asset Manager

Kiko Díaz-Casanova joined Urban Input Asset Management in 2021 as an Asset Manager in the Special Situations teams and holds a degree in Economics in Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Audit and Advance Accounting in ICADE with a final thesis in REIT’s. He has also an Executive Program of Value Investing in ISBIF and Urban Planning in REBS.

Kiko started to work as a Junior and Senior auditor in EY focus in auditing real estate companies. Then, he joined as a Senior to Armanext, advisor of listing process for REIT’s in Euronext, and PwC, for the Real Estate Transactions services team.


Junior Asset Manager

Ignacio joined Urban Input in March 2021 as Junior Asset Manager focused on the Build to Rent team.

Graduated in Business Administration by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Master´s degree in Finance by CUNEF.

Before joining our team, Ignacio worked as an Intern Investment Analyst in an important Socimi of the hotel sector.


Senior Asset Manager

Javier joined Urban Input Asset Management in April 2021 as Senior Asset Manager focused on the Build to Rent market.

Prior to joining our team, he worked as Asset & Property Manager for 5 years in two important socimis, focusing on the integral management as well as improvement and repositioning actions of residential buildings with national geographic coverage.

Javier has a degree in Business Administration and Management.


Junior Development Manager

Isabel García-Lorenzana joined Urban Input in May 2021 as a Junior Development Manager, her current focus is the built-to-rent market.

She graduated in Building Engineering and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Real Estate Planning and Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Prior to joining Urban Input, she worked at Tinsa in the valuation control department, and previously she worked as an Intern in Aedas HOMES.

Víctor Miguel

Junior Development Manager

Víctor Miguel joined Urban Input as a Junior Development Manager 2022. His current focus is the technical area in the build-to-rent market.

He graduated in Technical Arquitecture from the University of Burgos.

Prior to working at Urban Input, he worked as a construction manager for Somos Arista S.L. Before that Víctor did an internship as editor for execution projects in an architecture studio.

Juan Valero


Juan Valero holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Navarre. Prior to joining the firm, Juan worked as an auditor in Deloitte and as financial reporting analyst in BNP Paribas.

He joined Urban Input in 2021 and currently works as a Real Estate Investment Analyst focused on the Built-to-Rent Market.

Maitane Rentero

Asset Manager

Maitane joined Urban Input in January 2022 as Asset Manager in the Income Producing department. Before joining Urban Input, Maitane worked as a valuation consultant at CBRE where she has developed her professional career for 3 years, valuing all types of assets, but especially land, being responsible for this product, for internal purposes, accounting, IPOs, financing, sales, and purchases, and working for developers, international banks, investment funds and Socimis. She has also developed strategic advisory and portfolio management works during her experience in the real estate consulting sector.

Maitane holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of the Basque Country and a Master’s in Finance from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).

Stefano gil

IT Manager

Stefano joined Urban Input as IT Manager in January 2022. He’s responsible for developing maintenance and technological growth plans, as well as ensuring the proper functioning and optimization of all technological areas in the company.

He has previously worked as CTO at Equivalenza Retail, being responsible for the company's IT Systems, and having also worked as a consultant for Key-in-Hands Projects at Einzelnet Systems, carrying out all kinds of technological projects for clients such as BDO, Sanitas Mayores, Gas Natural Fenosa, SegurCaixa Adeslas, Pepe Jeans, etc.

Stefano has certifications in ITIL Foundation v4, Amazon AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix NCP, Netapp CDA, Commvault Certified Professional and several certifications in Cybersecurity and Monitoring Tools.

Xavier Jimeno

Data Analyst

Xavier joined Urban Input in December 2020 as responsible for the implementation of Microsoft Business Central as well as other business management solutions contributing to the optimization of processes within the company.

Also, as a Data Analyst, Xavier is responsible for the development of business intelligence models for the different areas of the company providing greater depth of analysis and an expanded reporting capacity.

In his previous stage, Xavier developed tasks as Finance & Accounting Manager for 10 years in an important business group in the financial consulting sector specialized in tax deductions and public aid.
Xavier has a diploma in Business Studies and Marketing Management.

Paula González-Lamuño


Paula joined the financial department in March 2022, carrying-out accounting and financial management tasks to some of the group's companies.

Paula holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration in the Oviedo University and a Master’s degree in Fiscal Consultancy and Accounting at the Financial Studies Centre.

Before joining Urban Input, Paula worked in taxes and accounting departments for 4 years being her last job in a Portuguese Investment Bank.

Ana Puy Manrique

Office Manager

Ana Puy joined Urban Input as Office Manager in March 2022.

Ana has more than 9 years of experience as Office Manager, simultaneously also exercising HR Manager and Executive Assistant positions in the different international companies in which she has worked throughout her career. She began her professional career working in Cantabria for a steel giant, CELSA Group, where she started as a logistics intern and was promoted to Management Controller and Executive Assistant for several of the group's companies. Later he moved to Madrid, where he entered the HR sector for Grupo SAF and finally in Asistensi, a startup in the Fintech sector.

Ana Puy has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Cantabria, specializing in International Business.

Mónica Delgado

PR & Communications Director

Monica joined Urban Input in 2022. With an extensive experience in Communication and Branding, she started her professional career in media and PR agencies. Afterwards, she entered in the real estate sector when she joined GRUPO NEINVER as the Director of Communications, Brand and CSR providing support to all of the company’s group, and afterwards was the Communications Director at SOTOGRANDE. During that time, she was also a member of European Public Affairs Committee for Real Estate Retail, in Brussels.

After an undergrad in Journalism she deepened the education with a Master in Corporate Communication and Management at IE Business School as well as several courses and diplomas: in Protocol and events (by Juan Carlos I University); On line Reputation (awarded by ISDI); Digital Marketing (awarded by The Valley) and Executive Program in Chief Happiness Officer and Corporate Wellbeing (awarded by UNIR).

She is a member of WIRES (Women in Real Estate Spain) and is a professor at Universidad Nebrija in the Communications Undergrad.

Laura Ortiz


Laura joined Urban Input as Controller in 2022.

Laura started her career in France where she worked in the banking sector, and then moved to Barcelona. Since then, Laura has worked for several international companies in Accounting and Reporting, in different sectors such as pharmaceutical, industrial and in the FMGC sector. Her last working experience was in an international FMGC sector company, where she worked as Controller for a French subsidiary, and was responsible of the Corporate Management Reporting presentation, directly to the shareholders.

Laura has a degree in Economy from the University of Toulouse-Capitole and 2 master’s degrees, one focused on SMEs Management and the other in Corporate Finance, both from Montpellier Management School.

Juan José Monforte

SysAdmin & Support Engineer

Juanjo joined Urban Input as SysAdmin & Support Engineer in October 2022.

Juanjo has two higher degrees. In 2018 he finished a superior degree on Web App Development and did an Erasmus in Manchester (UK) to complement his studies. The following year, he finished his second higher degree in System and Network Administration, and did another Erasmus in Eindhoven (Netherlands).

Juanjo has been working in the IT sector for the last 7 years. In his last job he worked as programmer and HelpDesk for a multinational logistics company. He is in charge of giving support to the users and helping maintaining the right performance of the company’s infrastructure.

Clara Jiménez


Clara joined Urban Input as a Lawyer in October 2022.

Clara has a degree in law from the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, where she also studied the master’s degree in Access to the Legal Profession through its management centre, “Barcelona School of Management”. During that period of time, she worked as an intern in a law firm in Barcelona specialized in Criminal Law, until June 2021 when she took the Examination for Access to the Legal Profession and became a member of the Barcelona’s Bar Association, “Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona”.

Clara worked previously in a law firm in Barcelona as a practicing lawyer, assisting the Labor law department; providing advice to clients, as well as attending trials and conciliations, and the Bankruptcy department; specializing in the Second Change Procedure for individuals.

She recently completed a postgraduate course in Regulatory Compliance at the University of Nebrija, through Euroinnova International Online Business School.
